Synopsis
Where the Architect is engaged by the Client to design and supervise the works, there are various legal issues which arise. For example, what exactly does supervision entail and the degree of supervision required. Given that there are potential liabilities under legislation and in contract and tort, the speaker Mr Christopher Chuah , a leading construction law practitioner and co-author of “Architects and the Law in Singapore” will examine this highly relevant topic in detail with reference to case studies and case law.
