Synopsis
In resource-scarce Singapore, planning and urban design has always been a challenge. It is of utmost importance to safeguard sustainable land stock to support economic growth and optimize land productivity to achieve the best
outcome.
Likewise, our codes and regulations have been developing fast in tandem with the times. One critical topic that attracted much attention within our fraternity and the industry is CORENET X which will take effect in December 2023.
Speakers
Justin Foo
Justin is an Executive Architect from the Architecture and Urban Design Group in the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). He is currently involved in the urban design of the Jurong Lake District and research on public spaces in Singapore.
Chan Li Ming
Li Ming is a Senior Architect from the Development Control Group in the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). She is part of the URA team working on developing CORENET X, and handles development proposals in various parts of the Central Region.
