The webinar will feature the sharing of the design philosophies and concept by the winning designs of the SIA Architectural Design Awards 2021.

Speakers
Ar. Quck Zhong Yi, Asolidplan / Solid Architects LLP
Quck Zhong Yi is a partner at the design practice ASOLIDPLAN and an adjunct lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts. He graduated with a Masters of Architecture from ESA Paris, and has since worked at DSTA, URA, and Formwerkz Architects. Zhong Yi believes that spatial design, across all scales, has the power to affect human relationships.
Ar. Cheng Jian Fenn, Design Link Architects
Design Link Architects is an award-winning architectural practice headed and founded by Ar Cheng Jian Fenn. The practice believes that good design is that which is able to serve its function and its user, bring people together and raise the aspirations of the people and society.
Ar. Lim Tze Yang, Design Link Architects
Tze Yang is an Associate Director at Design Link Architects. Design Link Architects is an award-winning architectural practice headed and founded by Ar Cheng Jian Fenn. The practice believes that good design is that which is able to serve its function and its user, bring people together and raise the aspirations of the people and society.
Ar. Suen Wee Kwok, RSP Singapore
Wee Kwok is a lead design architect of RSP and has 20 years of experience with an impressive portfolio of award-winning projects, specifically in the education, mixed-use, and civic sectors. He believes that architecture should lift the human spirit, connect emotionally with people when they use these spaces, and they are reflected throughout his works. He was the key designer of the LASALLE College of the Arts and with a vision to create a learning environment without any boundaries, it became the winning design of an international design competition. The project went on to win the prestigious President’s Design Award among many other accolades. Wee Kwok also developed the winning design for *SCAPE, a dedicated youth space in the city, in the *Scape Architectural Design Competition organised by the Ministry of Community Development for Youth and Sports. His portfolio of projects also includes Westgate, Cairnhill Nine & Ascott Orchard, Achifest, Singapore Institute of Technology University Plot 2, Oberoi Hotel, Gurgaon, etc. Wee Kwok holds a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture Studies) and Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Madeni Jais, RSP Singapore
To Madeni, architecture has always been about aesthetics and functionality in design. With 10 years of experience, he has been involved in small to large-scaled projects across a wide range of typologies. To date, his portfolio includes high-rise residential living and hospitality, religious and institutional buildings, private landed living and even exhibition works. Madeni always aims to seek out the best potentiality in space and form-making given any concept. This insight has driven him to be an avid contributor to other aspects of media centred around photography and design. This has enabled him to hone his craft and created opportunities for the work he has done thus far. Madeni holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Western Australia.
Ar. Wu Yen Yen, Genome Architects
Yen Yen Wu is principal at Genome Architects, a practice with a portfolio of diverse local private and public sector projects, premised on people-centric spaces conveyed through cognitive and sensorial design of built environments. The practice has received prior awards from the Singapore Institute of Architects.
Dr. Jason Lim, YUME Architects
Jason Lim is the co-founder of YUME Architects and a lecturer of Architecture and Sustainable Design at SUTD. With his background in architecture, engineering, and computation, Jason adopts a unique design approach—combining intuition and technical mastery—to create spaces with distinctive atmospheres and phenomenal qualities.
