Mr Ron Chai, Mapei Far East Pte Ltd
Mr Ron Chai has accumulated over 10 years of valuable experience in the construction industry, establishing a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise. During this time, he has dedicated 8 years specifically to the construction chemicals sector, where he received specialized training in various critical areas. His focus has been on waterproofing, ensuring that structures are protected against water damage and leakage; flooring, which involves the installation and maintenance of different types of floors to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements; and concrete repair, where he has honed his skills in restoring and maintaining the integrity of concrete structures. Mr Chai is currently the Business Head of the Building Line at Mapei Far East.
Ms Jesseline Yap, Mapei Far East Pte Ltd
Jesseline has more than 30 years of sales and field experience on tile and stone fixing materials and related works in the construction industry. Trained by manufacturers in Italy and the U.S., Jesseline is well versed in product and technical knowledge as well as applications for the installation of ceramic tile and stone and its related industry standards and practices. Jesseline is a regular trainer for courses run by the BCA Academy on “Good Industry Practices for Tile & Stone Works” in Singapore. Jesseline obtained her business degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia, and has been with Mapei Far East for more than 28 years and is the Senior Manager/Business Head, responsible for the Ceramic & Resilient Lines. Mapei, founded in Milan Italy in 1937, is a leading manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and construction materials for more than 85 years.
