Synopsis

There are 3,000 condominiums, 300,000 condominium homes and more than 1,000,000 dwellers; thousands of Architects and 3 big banks. Architects may propose to lead in the enhancement and transformation of those vast and vital assets for Singapore’s built environment.

SIA is focused in architecture but financing and caring of the built architecture requires attention.

Architecture has lost a great deal to the real-estate industry. For a start, Condominium owners should be supported by banks to develop their own properties, care and maintain their buildings in order to grow inclusiveness, community and sustainability.

In a bigger picture, finance is key – and Singapore is uniquely relevant.
