Synopsis

Thursday Night at SIA is back, a casual gathering for peers and newcomers to explore key topics in architecture. This edition looks at how hidden policies, codes, and regulations quietly shape the built environment influencing everything from intimate homes to heritage icons and transport megastructures. Who plays a bigger role? Our government Agencies or Our Architects? Through case studies on Jurong Gateway Hub, Golden Mile Complex, MFS Pasir Ris Drive & Project #13 we’ll surface the trade-offs, innovations, and reforms that could unlock richer, more resilient city-making. Join us to connect with like-minded practitioners making the unseen forces of design visible, and shaping the future of our shared urban fabric.
