Synopsis

The annual event aims to enhance industry professionals’ understanding of guidelines for effectively designing the built environment and its impact on the surrounding.
The first topic of the webinar will cover initiatives that facilitate developments that cannot comply with standard green buffer requirements, greenery provision requirements for agricultural and industrial development types and concluded with specific developments exempted from provision of green buffers and/or peripheral planting verges; and building works not requiring NParks’ approval at the DC and CSC stages.
The second topic of the webinar will cover the application of building control and accessibility requirements in common design practices through the sharing of examples encountered during plan processing and TOP site inspections. We will also cover some of the common waiver items and compliance issues, to discuss some of the frequently asked questions or misinterpretations about the requirements.
