Synopsis
The first subject presented is the sustainability attribute of bamboo. Then an overview of bamboo plantations around the world will be presented. Third, general knowledge about bamboo will be given: biology, taxonomy, mechanical properties. Fourth, transformation and processing of bamboo will be presented. Fifth, an innovative treatment method will be shown. Sixth, the feature of fused bamboo products will be detailed, with corresponding industrial process, including video. Finally, some example of projects will be presented as case study.
