Synopsis
Marc Navatier will present two key acoustic performances usually associated with suspended ceilings. Starting from the fundamental physical notions, he will first explain the competing phenomena of absorption and reverberation and how absorption is measured and declared for construction products. He will then describe the property of lateral insulation of a ceiling, and finally give pointers about the real-world applications of these properties.
In this seminar, you’ll learn:
• The key physical aspects of acoustics to understand the meaning behind how acoustical properties are declared
• How acoustic absorption and lateral insulation are measured and declared
• Application principles for both properties
