Ar. Lim Shing Hui, L Architects
Lim Shing Hui is the founding director & Design Principal of L Architects, an inter-disciplinary architectural design practice based in Singapore. She received both her Masters of Architecture & Bachelors of Arts in Architecture from the National University of Singapore. Her thesis project was under the tutelage of Professor Erik L’Heureux. Prior to starting her own practice in 2016, she spent her formative professional years working in MKPL Architects. She has been a registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore since 2014. At the recent SIA Architectural Design Awards she won a Merit Award for House of Trees & the highest distinction conferred - Design of the Year & Design Award for A Brick and Mortar shop. Shing Hui carries with her a spirit of curiosity and experimentation into many of her projects with a particular interest on greenery integration . Each project – whether architecture, interiors, landscape or design direction – is imbued with the same inherent quality; a simplicity that carries bigger ideas.
Ar. Razvan Ghilic-Micu, Hassell
An extroverted all-rounder and great communicator, Ar. Razvan Ghilic-Micu leads Commercial Architecture at Hassell Singapore. With 15 years of professional experience in Singapore, Shanghai, New York City and Toronto, Razvan brings to the table a global mindset with a keen understanding of our local and regional context. Outside of practice, he is active in the Singapore Institute of Architects as the Chief Editor of The Singapore Architect (TSA) Magazine and the 2021 Archifest Festival Director.
Ms. Shizuka Nagaya, Hassell
One of the most dynamic interior designers around, Shizuka Nagaya leads Workplace Interior Design at Hassell Singapore. With over 16 years of experience in Singapore, London and New York City, she takes an innovative, creative, and collaborative approach to each project to help clients fulfil their workplace aspirations. Outside of the studio, Shiz had participated in design reviews for SIT-GSA, where she had also been invited to deliver guest lectures.
Mr Siew Man Kok, MKPL Architects, Singapore
Chairman / Director
Architect Siew Man Kok believes that design, good design, in particular, must not only improve individual lives, it should also change the way a community or even entire societies live.
It was with this sense of social responsibility that Man Kok decided that he should participate in – and which he would eventually be awarded – the Housing and Development Board (HDB) design competition for the Bidadari Estate.
Mr Phua Hong Wei, WOHA Architects Pte Ltd
Hong Wei graduated with a Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore.
With his keen interest in community and greenery integration, Hong Wei brings additional focus on social and environmental sustainability into his projects. He was featured in URA’s 3rd edition of ’20 under 45’ Architect exhibition in 2017.
He is currently working on the Pan Pacific Orchard hotel, The Tre Ver condominium, Enabling Village extension and NS Square.
