Synopsis
The urban environment has seen a trend in increasing mixed-use buildings—a powerful concept to accommodate the growing population in cities and a high quality of life. With offices near residential spaces and having a supermarket and gym beneath your apartment, the convenience and time-savings seem like a dream come true for many. However, combining all these different uses in a conflict-free concept requires a design that considers high quality sound and vibration control solutions. Acoustics have been applied through history, with high performance raw materials with properties that have evolved over trends.

Erich von Weissenfluh is also the head of R&D and member of the board of NH Akustik. He will be speaking on Acoustic and Performance.

Franz Endres is an experienced professional in acoustics with more than 15 years in Asia and Europe. He will be sharing about the pollutant-absorbing acoustic components of Silentec® and HEY-Sign.

Terms & Conditions
- For SIA Members whose registrations have been confirmed, attendance is compulsory. Cancellation for complimentary registration is only allowed 3 working days before the actual event.
- Any absentee will be charged at $20.00.
- Ticket is non-transferable under all circumstances.
- Group registration will be subjected to group admin fee of $1 per ticket per transaction. Replacement/Cancellation of participant will not be allowed under group registration.
